Exoplanet XO-2b Observation Report
Photometric Detection of a XO-2b Exoplanet Transit at Kobdilj Observatory (Jan. 24-25, 2008)

We report a photometric observation of a XO-2b exoplanet transit in constellation Lynx. The data was collected by using the automated 25-cm f/4.2 Schmidt-Cassegrain with a CCD camera cooled to -22 °C and single Johnson V band filter. Exposure time was 80 seconds. All images were bias, dark and flat subtracted. Calculated transit starts on 24. Jan. at 20 h 47 min UT (HJD 2454490.37) and ends at 23 h 33 min UT (HJD 2454490.48 2008). Predicted central transit was at 22 h 10 min UT (HJD 2454490.42).

The XO-2b (GSC 03413-00005) exoplanet is located at R.A. = 07h 48m 06.468s, Decl. = +50° 13' 32.96" (equinox 2000.0).
