Exoplanet TrES-3 observations report
Photometric Detection of a TrES-3 exoplanet transit at Kobdilj Observatory (May. 18-19, 2007)
We report a photometric confirmation of a TrES-3 exoplanet transit, performed by exoplanet and variable star group (Teja Fabjan, Primož Kuk, Matej Mihelčič and Nikolaj Štritof - all from Kobdilj Observatory). We successfully observed the TrES-3 exoplanet candidate transit on May 18-19, 2007 with 0.25-m LX200 telescope, working at f/3.9, StarlightXpress MX716 CCD and V filter. A total of 120 exposures were secured, each lasting 80 seconds. Comparison stars were GSC 3089 883 (C) and GSC 3089 1137 (C1). The weather conditions were very good throughout the observing session.

The TrES-3 object is located at R.A. = 17h 52m 07s, Decl. = +37° 32' 46" (equinox 2000.0). Complete observations are available here. In case you intend to use our data, please credit it to Kobdilj Observatory, Slovenia.

While checking for the suitable comparison stars in the TrES-3 field, we discovered that GSC 3089 1027 is a variable star. Our data analysis show it is most probably of Delta Scuti type.
